Sofia's Magic Rainbow Tomato
Bred by celebrated Russian breeder Sofia Saakova (Stavropol, Russia), Sofia's Magic Rainbow (Magic Rainbow / Volshebnaya Raduga / Волшебная радуга) is a multi toned open pollinated variety (future heirloom) celebrated for its striking mosaic appearance and gourmet flavour profile. Producing eye catching, striped, tricolor oxheart fruits, it reflects Saakova's signature breeding focus on combining visual artistry with complex, fruit forward taste.
Fruit Shape: Large, elongated oxheart to boat shaped heart
Fruit Weight: 200g to 400g, with larger specimens reaching up to 600g+
Skin Colour: A vibrant mosaic blending shades of bronze red, fiery orange, golden yellow, bright crimson, and subtle olive green or light antho striping
Flesh & Taste: Silky, tricolored interior (crimson, yellow, and green) with a very thin skin. Delivers a complex, fruit forward flavour profile combining rich sweetness, subtle tropical fruit notes (reminiscent of mango or raspberry), and a refreshing, well balanced tang.
Plant Habit: Indeterminate (vining), grows well outdoors as well as in the GH/Polytunnel
