Sofia's Fiery Comet Tomato
'Sofia’s Fiery Comet' (originally released in Russian as Plamennaya Kometa Sofii / Пламенная комета Софии or Ognyennaja Komjeta Sofii, and often found internationally as Sophia's Fiery Comet, Sofia's Fire Comet, or Fire Comet Sofia) is one of renowned breeder Sofia Saakova’s most visually distinct signature releases.
It is famous for its "cosmic" shape, an elongated heart ending in a long, dramatic, curved "beak" or nose.

Fruit Shape: Elongated heart shaped or spiral heart with a prominent, long, curved tip.
Fruit Size: Medium to large, typically weighing 100–200g, with exceptional fruits reaching up to 300g.
Colouration & Internal Flesh
Skin Appearance: The base colour shifts from rich raspberry pink to a fiery scarlet red, accented with golden/yellow stripes and heavy indigo/purple/black anthocyanin splashes and brushstrokes across the shoulders where exposed to sunlight.
Flesh Texture: Dense, meaty, and tender with very small seed cavities and minimal seeds.
Flavour Profile: Intense dessert like flavour. Rich tomato sweetness balanced by a light, refreshing fruitiness and complex aromatic notes.
Growth
Growth Habit: Indeterminate. wispy "heart-type" foliage on strong, tall vines.
Plant Height: Reaches around 1.8–2.0 m.
Maturity: Mid-season (120 days from seed sowing to ripe fruit).
Pruning & Training: Best trained to 1 or 2 main stems with sturdy staking, stringing or trellising to support the long vines and dense fruit trusses.
