Red Robin Micro Dwarf Tomato (10-15 seeds)
The 'Red Robin' is a very popular and highly-regarded micro dwarf tomato variety, perfect for small spaces and container gardening.
Size (Plant): It is a true micro dwarf, typically growing to a compact, bushy size of only 20-30 cm tall.This makes it ideal for windowsills, patios, balconies, or hanging baskets.
Fruit: It produces an abundance of bright red, cherry-sized tomatoes (around 1-2 cm in diameter)
Flavour: The fruits are sweet and juicy, with a good, classic tomato flavour, they are great for fresh eating, snacking, and salads.
Growth Habit: It is a determinate (bush) variety. This means the plant grows to a set size, flowers, and produces its fruit in a concentrated period, then essentially stops growing.
Maturity: It is an early producer, often ready to harvest in 90 to 100 days from seed sowing
Growing Tips
Containers: It thrives in small containers, such as 2 or 3 litre pots.
Support: Due to its compact, bushy, determinate nature, it generally does not require staking, cages, or pruning of side shoots. If supporting, a couple of very small canes will suffice.
Sunlight: Like all tomatoes, it requires full sun (at least 6-8 hours).
Indoors: It is an excellent variety for indoor growing under lights or in a very sunny south-facing window, allowing for fresh tomatoes even in winter.
