Raspberry Kaftan Tomato
'Raspberry Kaftan' (originally released in Russian as Malinovyj Kaftan / Малиновый кафтан) is another rare, highly decorative open-pollinated (future heirloom) variety bred by Sofia Saakova in Stavropol, Russia. It is named after the traditional Russian kaftan (overcoat) due to the dramatic, layered "coat" of striping and anthocyanin blushing draped over its shoulders.

Fruit Characteristics
Fruit Weight: Medium to large beefsteak sizing, typically averaging 200–400 grams, with top fruit reaching up to 500 grams.
Skin Colouration: A striking multi coloured display. The base skin matures to a deep raspberry pink or carmine red, overlaid with pearlescent green and golden yellow stripes. Where sunlight hits the top of the fruit, it develops a pronounced indigo/purple anthocyanin cap across the shoulders.
Internal Flesh: Deep raspberry pink flesh that is dense, meaty, and juicy, with very small seed cavities.

Flavour: Classic rich "raspberry tomato" profile, very sweet, aromatic, and rich with a refined, balanced acidity.

Growth Habit: Indeterminate reaching 1.8–2.0 m.
Foliage: Regular leaf foliage.
Maturity: Early/Mid season 110–120 days from seed sowing to ripe fruit.
