Raspberry Burst Mini Dwarf Tomato (10-15 seeds)

The 'Raspberry Burst' tomato is an exciting variety bred by Brad Gates from Wild Boar Farms.

  • Fruit Size and Type: Raspberry Burst produces cherry to small saladette sized fruits, typically weighing 25-45 grams.

  • Appearance: The fruits are  round, pink, with faint stripes of anthocyanin (blue) to the shoulders. This "blue" (anthocyanin) colouration develops on the parts of the fruit exposed to direct sunlight.

  • Growth Habit: "semi-indeterminate" and mini dwarf variety

    • Height: The average plant size is around approx. 60 cm

    • Support: Due to its compact yet productive nature, it typically only needs a string or small cane for support, making it easier to manage than full indeterminate varieties.

  • Maturity: It's a mid-early variety, reaching maturity in approximately 110 days from sowing

  • Taste Profile: flavour is exceptional, rich and balanced between sweet and tart. This balance is often sought after in tomatoes, providing depth beyond just sweetness.

  • Exceptional Production: One of its most notable features is its incredible production. This makes it highly desirable for gardeners wanting a high yield in a smaller space.

  • Durability and Shelf-Life: The fruits are noted as being very durable on and off the plant, with a good shelf-life off the plant at room temperature.

  • Heat Tolerance: This variety does well above average during hot spells, setting fruit when others do not.

'Raspberry Burst' is a highly desirable tomato variety for its compact plant size, exceptionally high yield, good flavour, attractive appearance with anthocyanin shoulders, and impressive durability and heat tolerance. It's a great option for gardeners looking for a productive, low-maintenance cherry tomato.
