Pascal De Picardie Tomato (10-15 seeds)
Originally developed by tomato breeder Dean Slater and named after tomato collector Pascal Antigny from Picardy, France who participated in the selection of this variety. Anthocyanin shoulders turn lilac-coloured and later dark blue on the dark crimson background, especially so when exposed to direct sun. Its colour resembles that of Sgt. Peppers, with the latter being more heart-shaped and larger in size. The flesh is a rich red when cut. A thoroughly beautiful tomato. Delicious! Sweet and slightly tart but well-balanced with an intense full aroma. The flesh is buttery, juicy and soft. A rare variety that is very rewarding to grow.
