Bred by celebrated Russian breeder Sofia Saakova (Stavropol, Russia), Maple Heart (Кленовое сердце / Klenovoye Serdtse) is a gorgeous, multi toned ox-heart selection. Created from a cross between Maple Syrup (Le Sirop d'Érable) and Cardinal on Straw (Kardinal na Solome), it combines breathtaking aesthetics, exceptional yield, and an outstanding gourmet flavour profile.
Fruit Shape: Variable heart shaped (rounded ox-heart to boat shaped)
Fruit Weight: 200g to 400g, with occasional larger specimens reaching 500g
Skin Colour: A unique, mottled olive yellow base blushing with soft pink and warm ochre/terracotta tones at full maturity
Flesh & Taste: Vibrant tricolour interior. Dense, meaty, and low seed with a thin skin. Exceptionally sweet, aromatic, and rich with a complex fruity aftertaste
