Dream Cream Tomato
Dream Cream is an open-pollinated, dwarf (small stature) tomato bred by Brad Gates at Wild Boar Farms. It was developed as a cross from the famous Sweet Cream variety, intended to keep that same popular flavour profile while growing on a much more compact plant.
Key Characteristics & Growing Profile
Fruit Appearance: Elongated, Roma/paste-shaped fruits with a distinct pointed tip, growing to about 4 to 6cm in size. As they mature, the unripe green skin with dark green stripes turns into a yellow gold finish with red striping.
Flavour & Texture: The flesh is fairly meaty with a very sweet, fruity taste.
Plant Habit & Height: It is classified as semi-indeterminate, reaching a compact 40 to 70 cm. tall. This compact size makes it well-suited for smaller garden spaces or container growing.
Yield & Harvesting: Very heavy initial yield that slows down slightly as the plant continues to set flowers throughout the season. Because of its heavy productivity, a short stake is recommended to keep the small bush from tipping over.
Days to Maturity: Roughly 100-110 days from seed sowing to first ripe fruit.
