Bred by independent American grower Bill Yoder (Georgia, USA), Come Undone is a striking, highly ornamental bi-colour slicer. Named after the iconic 1993 hit song by Duran Duran, this variety is celebrated for its dramatic golden yellow and red hues accented by deep indigo black anthocyanin shoulders.
Breeder & Origin: Bill Yoder (Georgia, USA). Selected and stabilised as part of Yoder’s signature music themed breeding projects - specifically his "Duran Duran" Series (which also includes Rio, Hungry Like the Wolf, Ordinary World, and Notorious)
Parentage & Lineage: It originates from Yoder's multi generational line breeding focused on developing heat tolerant, anthocyanin heavy lines with complex bi-colour flesh and high resilience under heat stress
Fruit Shape: Small to medium sized beefsteak or broad heart shaped oxheart fruits with smooth, rounded shoulders
Fruit Weight: 100g to 300g
Skin Colour: Deep golden yellow base, capped by dark indigo purple anthocyanin shoulders where sunlight hits the skin
