Chupa Chups Pink Tomato
Chupa Chups Pink (also known as Chupa Chups Rose) is a dark shouldered beefsteak selection from the broader Chupa Chups line. The line originated in the United States. It is widely recognised as a cross between 'Lucid Gem' (a famous Brad Gates/Wild Boar Farms creation also stocked on this site) and 'Gelbe Jakobsmuscheln' (Yellow Scallop / Scalloped Yellow). Because the initial releases were introduced prior to complete genetic stabilisation (around the F4-F6 generations), growing out the seeds resulted in natural segregation. Gardeners and seed savers across North America and Europe selected different colour expressions from the offspring, giving rise to distinct colour variants under the Chupa Chups family name.
