Cherry Syrup Tomato
Bred by renowned Russian tomato breeder Sofia Saakova, Cherry Syrup (Vishnevyy Sirop / Вишневый сироп) is a gorgeous dark burgundy, heart shaped tomato line. Despite the word "Cherry" in its name - which pays homage to its maternal lineage, this variety produces medium to large heart shaped fruits and is certainly NOT a cherry tomato.
It is the result of a deliberate cross between Cherry from Zuzu and Black Beauty, resulting in intense dark colours, exceptional rich flavour, and high visual appeal.
